Covid 19 has undoubtedly changed daily life for people all over the world. In response to the potential severity of illness associated with Covid 19, I have made some changes to the way I will be running my clinics as detailed below. These changes are to protect you my patients as your safety is very important to me.

I will be contacting all my patients the day before a booked face to face appointment and/or treatment to find out whether you have any Covid 19 related symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has had any symptoms within the preceding 14 days. The main symptoms include a high temperature, a new onset continuous cough or worsening of an existing cough, a loss or change affecting your sense of taste or smell or shortness of breath.
If you develop any symptoms on the day of your appointment, I request that you contact myself or a member of the team to let us know. We can work together to re-schedule at a later suitable date as appropriate.
I request that you attend your appointment with a face mask/face covering and that you attend alone, please.
I will check your temperature upon arrival with an infrared thermometer. You will have access to hand washing facilities and the use of hand sanitising gel. Appropriate PPE will be worn during all appointments.
If it is your first treatment appointment, I will email consent and medical history forms beforehand to enable you to print, complete and bring these to your appointment. I request that you have a pen with you to sign the consent forms when you attend.
I will schedule time in between patients to avoid overlap and also to allow sufficient time to clean surfaces and contact points.
Where possible, I will try to schedule initial consultations and review appointments virtually.
Regarding payment, I will not be able to accept cash. Please could you transfer by BACS. Details will be provided on an individual basis.
Rest assured I have completed online Covid Clinical Safety and PPE Training and follow current government advice.
