Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started if I’m not sure what treatment I need or what’s best for my skin concerns?

All new patients are seen first in a Skin Confidence Consultation.
This includes a full clinical assessment of your skin, discussion of your concerns and a personalised treatment plan as appropriate. You do not need to know what treatment you need before attending.
This appointment also ensures the clinic approach is suitable for your needs before any treatment is considered.

I have active acne or acne scarring. What treatments are available?

If you have active acne or acne scarring, the first step is a Skin Confidence Consultation. This allows a full clinical assessment and a tailored treatment plan based on your skin.
Treatment is usually structured as an ongoing medical skincare plan, with prescription skincare and topical treatments forming the foundation. In-clinic procedures such as chemical peels may be introduced where appropriate.
For acne scarring and skin texture concerns, Dermapen 4 microneedling may be considered as part of a personalised treatment plan.
All treatment plans are individualised following clinical assessment.

How do I know which skin booster or injectable hydration treatment is right for me?

We offer a range of injectable skin quality treatments in clinic, including Stylage Hydro, Stylage Hydromax, Profhilo, and Sunekos.
The most suitable option depends on your skin concerns, level of dehydration and treatment goals. These options are discussed during your Skin Confidence Consultation, following a full clinical assessment.
Treatment plans are fully individualised following clinical assessment.

How are chemical peels structured? Are they offered in courses?

Chemical peels are typically used as part of a structured treatment plan, depending on your skin concerns and response to treatment.
We offer medical-grade peels including NeoStrata Glycolic Peels, NeoStrata Retinol Peels, Obagi Blue Peel Radiance and The Perfect Peel. These may be recommended individually or as part of a planned course, typically 3-6 sessions, depending on clinical assessment.
Treatment selection and course structure are determined following your Skin Confidence Consultation.

How are muscle-relaxing treatments for lines and wrinkles structured and priced?

All new patients are first assessed in a Skin Confidence Consultation, which includes a full medical history, facial anatomy assessment and evaluation of muscle movement.
If a muscle-relaxing treatment is clinically appropriate, a personalised plan is discussed following assessment.
Treatment fees for upper face areas are structured by number of areas treated. Additional areas may be considered following clinical assessment and are charged separately in line with our pricing structure.
All treatment plans are individualised following clinical assessment.
